Welcome to Fru Fru Tulip...
My name is Di and I have a healthy (although my husband may say otherwise) obsession for ALL things Vintage, especially fabric.  I felt inspired by my ever fast growing collection of vintage fabrics and I decided that I needed to display them in our home, be surrounded by these cheerful, vibrant fabrics and what better way than as lampshades!

It didn't take me long to fill our home with these amazing creations and I wanted to make more, source more fabric (naturally) and meet lovely people along the way.
In 2015 Fru Fru Tulip was born and it's gone from strength to strength.
I have the vintage fabric bug for sure, It's not just the amazing patterns, textures and colours I love, it's also their previous life and the fact that they have all been loved by many before me that fascinates me.

I source my fabrics from all over the world and they are in incredible condition, any flaws/fading from age I will always highlight in text and photos also asking you to make sure you are happy before you purchase.

All the lamp bases on the website are also original vintage from the 50's, 60's and 70's, PAT tested and ready to go.

Please contact me if you see a lampshade you like but its the wrong size or recently sold, as I usually have more fabric in stock and can make to your specifications if the volume of fabric allows.

Also, feel free to mix and match any lampshades with the bases available on the website, just drop me an email before you place an order.

Items that are made to order take approx 5-7 working days.

Items will be sent Royal Mail 2nd class signed for or by courier (I do not use My Hermes)

Everything is wrapped and packed within an inch of its life to ensure it arrives in one piece and looking as fabulous as it did when made.  All packaging used is recycled and recyclable.
